First I have to thank my dad and my wife. My dad gave me a 1987 Chrysler LeBaron turbo 5-speed that he had special ordered brand new. It was that car that got me into Mopar turbo cars and without it I would have never have given these cars a second of my time. My dad has also been very supportive of me racing the van. He helped me rebuild the tranny, helped me work on the head and got my A/C working again It is my daily driver in the summer and even though I live in Minnesota it gets into upper 90's with high humidity so A/C is a must for me. Dad also loves to come out to the track with me and watch me race. I also have to thank my wife for understanding why I had to have a minivan. We both hated minivans and she thought I was crazy when I told her I wanted one. Well now we both have one!
I have to thank a couple friends here, Dave K. for letting me keep my van in his garage in a million pieces for 5 months and Reed P. for the many hours of hangin out and helping me wrench on the van.
I also want to thank the following people because without them I would never, and I mean never would have owned a minivan. Gus Mahon, Dempsey Bowling, Gary Donovan and Paul Smith. I have never met any of them and sadly will never never have the chance to meet Gus. Anyway without them showing me how much fun these vans can be and how much potential these vans have I would not have had even the slightest interest in them. I have gained a wealth of knowledge from their websites and have made all my modifications based on things I have learned from them. I have even gotten answers to a couple questions I had. Thanks Paul and thanks Dempsey!
